I'm Amy, on placement at CAYLUS as part of my health degree at Macquarie University. I've made a series of clips to compliment the CAYLUS Youth Worker staff manual. They cover areas of youth work ranging from preventing burnout, to cultural considerations and what makes a successful youth work program.

The series also contains my student reflections, where I offer insights into CAYLUS, remote communities and towncamps, and experiences with Indigenous youth work.

'Mid placement student reflections' are my personal thoughts about the flexible nature of youth work, about the people I interviewed, and conundrums like humbug, racism and burnout.
